Considering pregnancy? Preparation is important!
Our lives are often hectic and demanding; we are forever planning and preparing for important events to fit them into our busy schedules. What better event to plan ahead for than carrying your baby! I hope that the following tips will help our patients better prepare for pregnancy.
1. Conceiving: Stop contraception. Usually there is not a significant delay in conceiving after you stop contraception, but if your periods are irregular, you may not be ovulating regularly and may have more difficulty conceiving. If so, contact our office. A patient with regular periods will ovulate 14 days prior to their next period. Knowing when you ovulate, or using an over-the-counter ovulation prediction test will improve your chances of conceiving
