Why I went into OBGYN
I was already interested in women’s health when I started medical school, but my future was sealed after I rotated through the labor and delivery unit. The first birth I ever witnessed was a C-section and happened so fast, but when the baby was born, it was like time stood still. I felt so excited and relieved and privileged to be there, and to this day I love guiding new moms through that moment.
Outside of deliveries, there are so many fulfilling aspects of my job. Meeting new patients and building relationships with them has been my favorite part of joining Dallas OBGYN PA, whether we’re keeping up-to-date with annuals, following a pregnancy, or planning a surgery. I’m also passionate about nutrition and movement as foundational to our long-term health, and I try to share that with my patients whenever possible. In my free time, I enjoy rock climbing, traveling the world, and spending time with my fiancée and our sweet dog Sophie.
